Making Of A New Album


The Cure will continue recording new material for a new album.

Robert Smith told in the interview that the new material is dark and incredibly intense, they recorded 19 songs which are about ten minutes long.

They should finish it before European Festivals, and it will be mixed through the summer.

Robert Smith told in the interview at the Rock Hall of Fame Induction ceremony in New York that more shows will be probably in the U.S. around Christmas.

Anniversary Documentary


According to Tim Pope, we will see this year chronological documentary of The Cure's history. Robert Smith will tell the story and this will work alongside other events for the band's 40-year celebration.

This film will include material from Robert's collection which has never been seen before: Super-8, interviews, bootlegs, rare performances, behind-the-scenes and more.



Lol Tolhurst confirmed that there will be soon Italian translate of his book Cured.

Standing Still


First Third Books announced another photo book from the archives of celebrate music photographer - Paul Cox, worked with The Cure for over 35 sessions from 1981 to 2009.


It was planned for release in early 2017, but it was postponed until June 2018.

So new book will be called "Stills" and it will be published by Moonboy this Autumn.
